In a major theatrical event marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present the US Premiere of Shakespeare's History plays in KING AND COUNTRY: SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT CYCLE OF KINGS. Following performances at the Barbican, and in China in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the plays are directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from tonight, Mar 24, through May 1, 2016.

WestEndFest is back for its first concert of 2016 on 15th May at The Actors Church in Covent Garden! This time around the comperes of the event Ian Stroughair and Kieran Brown will be hurdling their way through the theme 'Icons - your own spin'.  

Now in its record breaking 30th year, Cameron Mackintosh just announced exciting cast changes for"LES MISERABLES" at the Queen's Theatre in 2016. Joining the cast from Monday 15 February 2016 are Patrice Tipoki as 'Fantine'; Craig Mather as 'Marius' andDanielle Hope as 'Eponine.' Peter Lockyer will continue to star as 'Jean Valjean', Jeremy Secomb as 'Javert',Phil Daniels as 'Thenardier', Katy Secombe as 'Madame Thenardier'; Zoe Doano as 'Cosette' and Bradley Jaden as 'Enjolras'.

On Thursday 8 October 2015, the West End production of 'LES MISERABLES' at the Queen's Theatre continues to make history as it celebrates its 30th anniversary with a very special performance starting at 7.00pm. 450 tickets for this performance will be available to the fans through a mobile lottery and a charity auction to raise money for the Save the Children Syria Children's Appeal. Gregory Doran, RSC Artistic Director, continues his exploration through Shakespeare's History plays as he directs Henry V, opening in Stratford-upon-Avon, before being broadcast to cinemas and transferring to the Barbican in London. 

WhatsOnStage has confirmed that Southwark Playhouse's IN THE HEIGHTS will transfer to London. No word yet on dates or a venue, but BroadwayWorld will bring you the news as soon as we have the official details!

BWW reports on New Words Shared With Friends, an upcoming concert of songs with lyrics by Robert Gould at the Battersea Barge on Sunday May 10.

This spring, Atlanta Ballet will present the world premiere of a ballet based on "Camino Real" by Tennessee Williams, the renowned playwright who authored such American classics as "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". Choreographed by Atlanta Ballet choreographer in residence Helen Pickett, Williams' "lost classic" of love, redemption and courage will debut March 20-22 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Casting is announced for Gregory Doran's production of Arthur Miller's 1949 Pulitzer prize-winning play Death of a Salesman, opening in the centenary year of Arthur Miller's birth. Previews start from 26 March, with the press night on Wednesday 1 April, 2015.
