Brown, Colbourne, Maitland and More Will Sing NEW WORDS SHARED WITH FRIENDS at The Battersea Barge, Sunday May 10

Following two successful concerts at the Leicester Square Theatre Lounge and the launch of the Broadwayworld Album Awards nominated album WORDS SHARED WITH FRIENDS in 2014, a third concert of songs with lyrics by Robert Gould will be presented at the Battersea Barge on Sunday May 10 with a cast including West End stars Kieran Brown, Michael Colbourne and BWW:UK Awards 2014 Understudy Of The Year, Carolyn Maitland.

Robert Gould is a musical theatre librettist & lyricist who has also co-written songs in the pop, rock & folk genres. His musical theatre credits include the musicals MY LAND'S SHORE, BASED ON A TRUE STORY & GRACE NOTES (all with composer Christopher J. Orton), ROUNDABOUT (with songwriter Joe Sterling), A PEBBLE FOR AARON (with composer Rob Eyles) and SHADOW ON THE SUN (with composer Omri Lahav). He wrote lyrics for the albums MORE WITH EVERY LINE and SURROUNDED BY THE SOUNDS (with music by Tim Prottey-Jones) and SOMEWHERE IN MY MIND - THE SONGS OF JOE STERLING.

The NEW WORDS SHARED WITH FRIENDS concert will feature mostly brand new material, including many world premiere performances of songs written with composers Alex James Ellison, Rob Eyles, Omri Lahav, Christopher J. Orton, Ben Messenger, Dean Heller, Joe Sterling, Filip von Uexkull and Serenity Wanders.

The vocal cast for the concert will be: Luke Bayer, Kieran Brown (The Phantom Of The Opera, Pipe Dream, Wicked), Michael Burgen (The Pirates Of Penzance, The Dreaming, Spamalot), Michael Colbourne (Les Miserables, A Little Night Music), Alex James Ellison (Apartment 40C, Whistle Down The Wind, Best Of Friends), Natalie Amanda Gray (Deadly Waters [film], Elegies For Angels Punks & Raging Queens, Rent), Emma Kingston (Les Miserables, In The Heights), Carolyn Maitland (Miss Saigon, From Here To Eternity, Kiss Me Kate), Shaun McCourt (War Horse, Joseph), Kane Oliver Parry (Sweeney Todd, Urinetown, The Light Princess), Keith Ramsay (Dr Scroggy's War, Julius Caesar, Billy, BBC's Shetland), Michael Rees (Girlfriends), Oli Reynolds (Pacific Overtures), Michael Riseley (Les Miserables) and singer/songwriter Serenity Wanders.
Musical direction and accompaniment will be provided by Rob Eyles, Joe Davison and Alex James Ellison and the show will be produced by Carrie Baxter.
