Move over Chippendales! Bill Hanney’s award-winning North Shore Music Theatre is ready to go THE FULL MONTY! The Broadway hit musical will take the stage from Tuesday, September 26 thru Sunday, October 8, 2023.

The New York City Dance Education Organization Dancing Classrooms will host IT TAKES TWO: AN EVENING IN ARGENTINA, in a virtual format on Thursday, March 4, 7:00 - 8:30 PM EST. Guests who purchase a $30 ticket are invited to make it two (bring a guest) free of charge!

The third in a series of exhibitions about the human body in contemporary art organized by Frist Center Chief Curator Mark Scala, PHANTOM BODIES: THE HUMAN AURA IN ART includes provocative artworks that address themes of trauma, loss, and transformation, while considering the possibility of an animating spirit that can exist independently of the body. The exhibition includes a selection of paintings, photography, videos, sculpture and installations by a noteworthy roster of contemporary international artists and will be on view in the Upper-Level Galleries from October 30, 2015, through February 14, 2016.

Beginning Monday, November 2, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts will offer free admission to guests bringing nonperishable food items to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee on Mondays through December. The items most needed by Second Harvest this year are peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna, canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta and cereal. Since 2012, visitors to the Frist Center have contributed 12,012 pounds of donated food, which equates to 10,009 meals.
