Academy and Golden Globe Award winner Melissa Leo and acclaimed film, television and theater star Zachary Quinto will star in a one night only benefit staged reading of celebrated playwright Warren Leight's Tony Award-winning play Side Man.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) announces complete casting for the New York premiere of MAPLE AND VINE, a new play by Jordan Harrison (Doris to Darlene at Playwrights Horizons, Amazons and Their Men, Kid-Simple).

According to published reports, Ben Stiller is working with David Zimmer to createa special benefit auction entitled Artists for Haiti. The event will be held at Christie's on September 22. Proceeds will be donated to Architecture for Humanity, J/P Haitian Relief Organization, Partners in Health and Grameen Creative Lab.

Last night, September 12, FOLLIES opened on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles® (BAFTA Los Angeles) will honor Ben Stiller with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy at the 2011 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards on Wednesday, November 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Los Angeles and New York veteran stage actor Tim Cummings has released a book of collected stories entitled ORPHANS stories. The book, which contains a joyous superfluity of styles, forms, and themes, is available as both a digital and a print edition.

Stage and screen star Ben Stiller, who waspreviously announced to star in 20th Century Fox's remake of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,' will also direct the project, according to Variety.
