The Riant Theatre under the direction of Artistic Director Van Dirk Fisher, has announced its 26th Anniversary season lineup for the Strawberry One-Act Festival, which consists of 21 new one-acts and 3 full length plays that will run today, August 20th -- August 31st at the Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th St.
ZORRO Playwright James Rana Coming to East Lynne Theater Co.

Now that the world premier of 'Zorro!' has opened and is enjoying ever-growing and receptive audiences of all ages, the adaptor of this famous swashbuckling tale, James Rana, had time to answer a few questions. This is the third world premiere in three years written by Rana, and produced by the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company, with its artistic director, Gayle Stahlhuth, directing.

Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education and media company, will publishBONE #1: Out from Boneville, The Tribute Edition on February 24, 2015. This special edition of the first book in Jeff Smith's award-winning and bestselling graphic novel series will kick off the 10th anniversary celebration of the Scholastic Graphix imprint in 2015. The Graphix imprint launched in 2005 with the color edition of BONE #1: Out from Boneville by Jeff Smith. Aimed at readers ages 8 to 12, and to be published simultaneously in the United States and Canada, the full-color special edition will contain a brand-new illustrated poem from creator Jeff Smith plus original BONE tribute art from sixteen additional top artists in the form of mini-comics and full-page artwork. Unbound Productions Executive Director Jonathan Josephson, Artistic Director Paul Millet, and Producing Artistic Director Jeff G. Rack have announced the cast for the World Premiere Wicked Lit installation of Algernon Blackwood's THE DOLL, adapted by Rack and directed by Millet (July 11-26, 2014; Fridays-Sundays, 7:00 p.m., 8:15 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.): Asia Aragon (Unbound Productions debut), Jennifer Novak Chun (The Lurking Fear, The Masque of the Red Death Experience, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Wicked Lit2013), Amelia Meyers (Unbound Productions debut), Tanya Mironowski (The Unnamable, Wicked Lit 2010, 2011), and Andrew Thatcher (Wake Not the Dead, Wicked Lit 2012). The play will be performed as a full production in and around Strub Mansion (a 100-year-old Italianate Beaux Arts home) on the campus of the historic Mayfield Senior School of the Holy Child Jesus in Pasadena.
