LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & UPRIGHT CABARET are thrilled to announce the remaining performers for its second show of their season, SWEET SOUL MUSIC, which will include Tony Award-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Broadway: The Color Purple, The Scottsboro Boys), & Leslie Odom, Jr. (Broadway: Rent, Jersey Boys, Regional: Leap of Faith opposite Brooke Shields), with the previously announced American Idol star Frenchie Davis, performing the music of RAY CHARLES, MARVIN GAYE and GLADYS KNIGHT, and their own selections, under the musical direction of Todd Schroeder, in a one night only concert - SWEET SOUL MUSIC.

Adult Swim's Robot Chicken returns to that galaxy far, far away for a brand-new Star Wars-themed special premiering December 12 at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). This third installment in the Robot Chicken: Star Wars trilogy follows the two previous specials, which resulted in multiple Emmy nominations and numerous Annie Awards for both specials and the writers Ahmed Best and Seth Green. Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III, to be directed by Chris McKay, marries the satirical sensibilities of Green and Matthew Senreich's (Stoopid Monkey Productions) Emmy-winning Robot Chicken with characters of the Star Wars universe. Broadway Knights is pleased to present Broadway Memories, a fundraiser concert to benefit Alzheimer's Association and Capistrano Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the OC Pavilion in Santa Ana.

On Sunday, September 26, the California AIDS Walk was held in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Hosted by Wanda Sykes and Blair Underwood, special guests Megan Hilty, Eden Espinosa, Magic Johnson, Hanson, Shontelle, Cazwell, Jermaine Jackson attended the walk and performed in concert for the walkers.
