The New York Musical Theater Festival (NYMF) will hold a kickoff to the 7th season: BEST OF FEST, a gala celebration to toast the achievements of the Festival's alumni. The one night only benefit concert will take place on Monday, June 21st at 8 PM at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Actor Jack Noseworthy will be making his debut appearance at the celebrated Feinstein's at Loews Regency on Monday, June 29, at 8:30 p.m. This one-night-only show, Come Fly With Me, will feature an entertaining repertoire of songs including, 'Better' by Edward Kleban from A Class Act, 'One Track Mind' by Marvin Hamlisch from Sweet Smell of Success, a tribute to George M. The 2009 Festival of New American Musicals, a four-month musical theatre festival, will be held in April through July, 2009, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the second annual Festival.

The Spirit of Broadway theater ended its 11th season this Saturday by presenting its 8th annual Spirit Awards during a black tie gala at the Spa at Norwich Inn. The awards winners are determined by subscriber votes. Joe DiPietro served as the Guest Master of Ceremonies.
