The beauty of a long-running Broadway show is being able to see an iconic role portrayed by more than just one star.

The York Theatre Company presented a one-night only benefit concert celebrating up and coming musical theatre writers, with NEO 11 last night, June 15, 2015 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

The York Theatre Company presents a one-night only benefit concert celebrating up and coming musical theatre writers, with  NEO 11 on Monday, June 15, 2015 The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).  Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by a champagne and dessert reception to toast the evening.

Final casting has been set for the 2015 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights For A Cause, set to take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4th Street, on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30 pm. The evening, which will benefit the non-profit National Coalition Against Censorship, will showcase world premiere one-act plays by three acclaimed playwrights: Israel Horovitz's Breaking Phillip Glass and Erik Ehn's Her Speech, both directed by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity founder and PFAC Producing Artistic Curator Glory Kadigan, and Halley Feiffer's A Play About New Mexico, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Donna Vivino, Lesli Margherita, Drew Gasparini, Ben Fankhauser, and more in "54 Sings Lady Gaga" on July 27.

Scott Coulter brought the music of Studio 54 to Below 54 last night as the club celebrated it's 3rd year on that famous NYC street. In the legendary club's heyday the guest  list was a who's who from the world of entertainment - Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli, Halston, Elizabeth Taylor, Mick Jagger, Diana Ross, Brooke Shields, John Travolta, Michael Jackson - and the music played kept them dancing all through the night. It was dancing through the night at 54 Below yesterday and Max at the entry door was much more accommodating than those guards at the 1970 Studio 54. Santa Susana Performing Arts Magnet High School in Simi Valley presents SHREK THE MUSICAL, running in their new 450-seat performing arts center for six performances over two weekends, concluding after today and tomorrow, May 1-2, 2015.

Glee star Billy Lewis Jr., Adam Kantor (Rent, The Last 5 Years), Emily Padgett (Side Show, pictured), Amma Osei (Rock of Ages), Ryann Redmond (Bring it On, If/Then), Heather Brorsen (Avenue Q) and Ashley Loren (Jekyll & Hyde) will join G'Day Broadway! The Music of Matthew Lee Robinson at The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street) tonight, April 29th at 7pm.
