THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT, the new play by Stephen Adly Guirgis starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez, has announced a student rush ticket policy. Student rush tickets are $26.50 and available when the box office opens on the day of each performance. There is a limit of two tickets per person and a valid student ID is required. Tickets and locations are subject to availability.

Five-time Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Terence Blanchard will compose original music for the world premiere on Broadway of THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT by Stephen Adly Guirgis starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the production will open on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street, New York City). Tom Stoppard's "dazzling masterpiece" (The Daily Telegraph) ARCADIA, directed by David Leveaux, begins previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) on Saturday evening, February 26, 2011 with an opening night set for Thursday, March 17, 2011.

The Schenectady premiere of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Thursday, February 24 at 8:00PM at Proctors for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, March 20, 2011.

When the eccentric patriarch Simon Powers departs his physical being and downloads himself into The System, his house assumes his immortal presence around his family and friends... So begins DEATH AND THE POWERS, a groundbreaking new opera created by Tod Machover and his Opera of the Future Group at the MIT Media Lab, which receives its North American premiere at the American Repertory Theater. Performances take place at the Cutler Majestic Theater in Boston on March 18 (press opening), March 20, March 22, and March 25.

In a recent interview with Broadway Beat, stage and screen star Bobby Cannavale went on the record about his latest project on the Great White Way, THE MOTHER FU**KER WITH THE HAT. Cannavale told Broadway Beat, 'I've been a fan of Stephen Guirgis' from the beginning. The first play I saw of his was over ten years ago, and I think that there's no other voice like him working in the theatre. He's a quintessential New York playwright.'

In a recent interview with Broadway Beat, comedian Chris Rock went on the record about making his Broadway debut in the new play THE MOTHER FU**KER WITH THE HAT. Rock told Broadway Beat, 'I just like this play so much. I like the fact that sometimes Broadway can be a little over the averages man's head, but this play is for evrybody. It works on so many levels. It's like the kinda play that could work at the Apollo or the Met. That's what i like to do with my stand up- have an act that works for everybody, and this play gets them all.'

Disney Theatrical Productions and Victoria Theatre Association announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 12 at 7 AM. Dayton's most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at the Benjamin & Marion Schuster Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 14 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, July 10.
