Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out eight-week return engagement in Toronto which concluded on Sunday, June 12. The engagement, which the Toronto Star enthused, "is back and more glorious than ever," grossed over $12 million at the box office and entertained more than 123,000 patrons during 64 performances at The Princess of Wales Theatre.

RIALTO CHATTER: THE MOTHER WITH THE HAT Extends Through September 10?

THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT may be extending its Broadway run for a second time. Although there's no official word just yet, Telecharge has released a new block of tickets for the Tony nominated play, which was set to close on July 17th following a first extension earlier this month; tickets are now being sold through September 10th.

Due to an extension, The Motherf**k**er With The Hat will now play through Sunday, July 17th at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the play opened to critical acclaim on Monday, April 11, 2011. COME FLY AWAY Joins Bushnell Broadway Series, 5/29-6/3

Bobby Cannavale Sustains Head Injury Backstage at MOTHERf**k**ER WITH THE HAT

As reported in the New York Daily News, The Motherf**k**er With The Hat star Bobby Cannavale sustained a head injury backstage during last night's performance about an hour into the performance. Though bleeding, the injusry was not serious. The production was paused and an ambulence called as a precaution, Cannavale finished the performance.
