American music icon Willie Nelson is celebrating his 80th birthday and six-decade-spanning career with the release of To All The Girls..., a brand new album that features a collection of newly recorded duets

No one represents the magic of New York's nightlife better than Andy Warhol, the legendary artist who gave the city a gallery of colorful disciples and defined much of its creative golden age. Now, for the first time, Warhol's own view of glamorous New York after dark is on display with a series of photographs featuring personal and candid moments with luminaries such as Mick Jagger, Madonna, Deborah Harry, Grace Jones and others. The new exhibit, curated by 1stdibs - the world's largest online luxury marketplace - will debut on September 09, 2013 online as well as in a gallery exhibition at the New York Design Center. But my dismay over the hours lost watching average shows this season was tempered a bit by the pride and joy I felt watching the June performances of three strikingly attractive and talented 30ish brunettes with powerhouse voices-- Jackie Kristel, Karen Gross and Jodi Beck, who all staged entertaining shows as spring was turning to summer.

Resnick had co-written the screenplay with Colin Higgins, the director of the film, in which Parton had her first screen role. The musical premiered at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles in September 2008 and opened on Broadway on April 30, 2009. It was nominated for 15 Drama Desk Awards, the most received by a production in a single year. It was also nominated for four Tony Awards.

Showbiz411 is reporting that Whitney Houston's estate is working on a documentary about the iconic singer, with Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law, acting as executive producer. The site suggests the film would be more of a tribute than an 'objective film about Whitney's rise and fall.' The singer died at the age of 48 in February last year.

Construction is under way on the new FireChaser Express rollercoaster, opening in March 2014 at Dollywood.
