New York Festival of Song returns to the peace and natural beauty of the North Fork of Long Island to launch the 2015-16 NYFOS Emerging Artists series with a residency and pair of performances: Sunday, August 23, 2015, 5:00 p.m. at Poquatuck Hall in Orient, NY and Saturday, August 22, 2015, 5:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Bellport, NY.

(March 23, 2015) - For the conclusion of the 2014-2015 season, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Music Director Marin Alsop lead the BSO premiere of Leonard Bernstein's comedic operetta Candide tonight, June 11 at the Music Center at Strathmore, and June 12 through June 14 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The BSO announced today that the semi-staged production of Candide will be directed by Garnett Bruce and features an all-star cast including Peter Sagal, the host of NPR's weekly current events quiz show "Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me," and Judy Kaye, Tony Award-winning star of The Phantom of the Opera. Rounding out the cast are Keith Jameson, Lauren Snouffer, Joshua Hopkins, Mark Diamond, Marie Lenormand, Stephanie Sadownik, Curtis Bannister, Patrick Cook, Andrew McLaughlin, Melissa Wimbish and Lewis Shaw.

Jeffrey Kahane will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct and perform an all-Mozart program featuring Mozart's Piano Concertos Nos. 20 and 21 and Symphony No. 38, Prague, tonight, June 3, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m.; and Saturday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m.

?The Celebrity Series of Boston announced its 2015-2016 season today, marking 77 years of bringing the world's greatest performing artists to Boston. The season opens on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 with author and speaker David Sedaris. In total, the 2015-2016 season will include 48 music, dance and entertainment engagements. Carnegie Hall today announced that acclaimed clarinetist Sharon Kam has agreed to step in for Martin Frost, performing on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. in Zankel Hall with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Artistic Director Richard Tognetti. The program, which remains unchanged, features Ms. Kam performing Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A Major. The chamber orchestra will also perform the New York premiere of Water, a new work by Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood, along with Haydn's Symphony No. 83 in G Minor, 'The Hen,' and Prokofiev's witty piano miniatures, Visions fugitives, Op. 22, arranged for orchestra by Mr. Tognetti and Rudolf Barshai. The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival, under the artistic direction of flutist Linda Chesis, presents Three Faces of Romanticism on Sunday, April 26 at 4 pm at the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown.
