O Sole Trio, one of New York City's leading cabaret acts, with soprano Erin Shields and baritone Giuseppe Spoletini, vocals; and David Shenton, piano and violin; will be bringing their exhilarating and unique show that captures the essence of Italy and features a program that showcases a cornucopia of beloved Italian opera arias, popular Neapolitan songs as well as jazz standards made popular by such singers as Louis Prima, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee and Rosemary Cloney, to various venues throughout New York and New Jersey.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College launches its 2012-2013 season with a double billing of Metropolitan Klezmer & Isle of Klezbos on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2pm. Drummer/band leader Eve Sicular leads these two internationally acclaimed New York City based ensembles, which represent two sides of the same musical coin, interpreting Yiddish favorites with a mixture of tradition and irreverence.
LINCOLN CENTER DIALOGUE Season Begins 10/3

Providing an opportunity to hear key leaders discussing significant issues facing American society, Lincoln Center's spoken word series Lincoln Center Dialogue will begin its second season on October 3rd in the David Rubenstein Atrium. These programs take place over breakfast, welcoming early risers and inviting audiences to discover Lincoln Center well before curtains go up. The three conversations, moderated by the president of Lincoln Center, Reynold Levy, will focus on the challenges of leadership in the university, museum, and public policy arenas. WNET, WLIW and NJ Network will again air the Dialogues (check local listings for date and time). Members of the live audience in the intimate venue will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.
New-York Historical Society Continues Independence Day Exhibition Through 7/15

The New-York Historical Society has announced that a rare copy of the "Stone" facsimile of the Declaration of Independence -one of approximately fifty in existence-will be added to the displays in the Judith and Howard Berkowitz Sculpture Court beginning July 3 in honor of Independence Day. The document is being lent to New-York Historical through the courtesy of collector David Rubenstein, managing director of The Carlyle Group, and will remain on view through July 15.

Laura Osnes & Santino Fontana Set to Lead Broadway-Bound CINDERELLA

Laura Osnes will play Cinderella and Santino Fontana will portray the Prince in the new Broadway-bound production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, it has been announced by the musical's producers. CINDERELLA -- which is aiming for a Broadway opening during the 2012-13 season -- is produced by Robyn Goodman, Stephen Kocis and Jill Furman in association with Center Theatre Group.
