The Broadway premiere of David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre, starring Patrick Stewart and T.R. Knight will begin previews on September 21st, 2010 and officially open on Tuesday, October 12th at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 W. 45th St.). Bay Street Theatre announces that last week to see David Mamet's play, ROMANCE, running now - September 5.

Lindsay Posner directs Richard Bean's new stage version of David Mamet's film, House of Games previewing from 9 September and running until 6 November, with press night on 16 September. Designs are by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Paul Pyant and music by Django Bates. House of Games is sponsored by Aspen.

Al Pacino will reprise his celebrated performance as Shylock on Broadway for 78 performances only, beginning Tuesday, October 19 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th Street) and running through Sunday, January 9. Opening Night will be Sunday, November 7 at 6:45 p.m.

American Theater Company (ATC) opens its 26th season with David Mamet's Oleanna and Speed-the-Plow in repertory for the first time ever. The productions are directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder and will run at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago.
