Today's question is: Who has worn the most hats on Broadway- director, producer, writer, actor, etc.? Here are a few folks that could hold a record for the 'number of hats' they've worn on Broadway shows. Part one includes those who have worn four or five hats on Broadway shows and part two will include those who have held even more positions than that!

On Wednesday, October 19, the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan (MMJCCM) will present a free virtual event, Broadway's Best for Parkinson's: Using Theater and Improvisation Skills for Managing Parkinson's, which will explore how theater and improvisation can be helpful tools in managing Parkinson's.

Since his death in 2021, Stephen Sondheim and his canon of work have justifiably been on the hearts and minds of theater people from around the world, with revivals, retrospectives and remembrances filling the calendars of an amazing range of companies paying homage to the master of contemporary musical theater. Just in time for a new season of productions highlighting the Nashville theater calendar, Belmont University Musical Theatre has chosen the aptly named musical revue Sondheim on Sondheim to launch a two-show semester that honors the genius of the master while showcasing the talents of its roster of musical theater majors who continue to add luster to the program’s reputation.

Far from the typical song cycle, the incomparable James Lapine brilliantly curated a collection of songs that have been masterfully arranged by David Loud from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Saturday Night, West Side Story, Company, Merrily We Roll Along, Follies, Sweeney Todd, Passion, A Little Night Music, Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park with George, Bounce, Assassins, Gypsy, Anyone Can Whistle. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented on Monday January 3rd, 2022, at a by-invitation-only ceremony at Birdland Jazz Club

New York City director, actor and writer Evan Edwards will direct Provincetown playwright Patrick Riviere's One-Act play The Days After presented on Zoom on May 14th.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company announced today that applications for the seventeenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters are now available. Applications will be accepted from June 1 - June 30, 2021. The winner will be selected in November of 2021.

She shared, 'I was inspired to sing a song today for St Patrick's Day, and this gem from Finian's Rainbow came to mind.
