Come enjoy 'An Evening with Mary Chapin Carpenter' for one night only ~ Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 8PM, at the intimate Balboa Theatre, the perfect venue to showcase 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Mary Chapin Carpenter as she performs songs off her critically acclaimed album, The Age of Miracles.

The world premiere of A Tribute to a Legend: Davi Sings Sinatra opens at Hofstra University's John Cranford Adams Playhouse for three special concerts - Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 18, at 2 p.m.

Superstar Toby Keith will perform on the BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, an entertainment special to be broadcast live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Sunday, July 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Craig Ferguson (CBS's 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson') will host the special for the fourth consecutive year.

NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' has won the week of June 21-25 in adults 18-49 and total viewers over all cable and broadcast competition, delivering bigger audiences than CBS's 'Late Show with David Letterman' and ABC's combination of 'Nightline' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers. Jay generated his biggest adult 18-49 viewership and biggest overall viewership in four weeks.

CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN delivered its most competitive second quarter against 'The Tonight Show' in viewers and key demographics since 1995, according to Nielsen most current ratings for the second quarter ending the week of June 25.

ABC News 'Nightline' placed second among Total Viewers, A25-54, and A18-49 for the just completed second quarter, outperforming CBS' 'Late Show with David Letterman' according to Nielsen Media Research. The last time 'Nightline' beat Letterman for a 2nd quarter among both Total Viewers and A25-54 was in 2000. Additionally, this marks 'Nightline's' best 2nd quarter total viewer delivery since 2004 and the program's best 2nd quarter A25-54 delivery since 2006.

Variety reports that Judd Apatow may be teaming up with funnyman Paul Ruebens ('Pee-wee Herman) on a big screen project for Universal. Apatow will produce, but not direct, the film through Apatow Productions Company. Reubens is collaborating with Paul Rust (Inglourious Basterds, I Love You, Beth Cooper) on the screenplay, which is expected to be a family road trip adventure film.
