It has been confirmed on Wednesday night that Jeffrey Deitch has stepped down as Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. A statement said, 'He will stay on to ensure a smooth transition and the successful completion' of a campaign begun in March to boost MOCA's endowment to $100 million.'

Charlie Whitehead, a.k.a. Raw Spitt, 1970 first full-length, produced by Swamp Dogg for Canyon records, and a highly sought after collectors' album of unconventional Southern Soul. RunwayRunway Theatre's production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE is set to open this Friday, May 31, and run through June 16, with performances at Friday & Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 3 pm.

Headlong will return to the Almeida Theatre following the critically acclaimed 2008 co-production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. The collaboration will continue in autumn 2013 with a new co-production - the World Premiere of American Psycho, with book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. American Psycho will be directed by Rupert Goold and produced in association with David Johnson and Jesse Singer at Act 4 Entertainment.

In an Almeida and Headlong co-production, Lyndsey Turner will direct the world premiere of Lucy Kirkwood's Chimerica from 17 May - 29 June 2013, with press night on 23 May. Designs are by Es Devlin with lighting by Tim Lutkin and sound by Carolyn Downing. Casting for Chimerica will be announced shortly.

It's safe to say that Stratford has another musical hit on their hands in 42nd Street, a toe-tapping gem of a show that showcases the incredible performers involved in the company this year. The show also marks the return of Cynthia Dale to the Festival after a five year absence. Featuring an incredible live band, brilliant choreography, gorgeous costumes and one of the most hard-working ensembles you will see on stage today, the show is a reminder of what classic musical theatre should be.

'This Living Hand' by Richard Vetere will be presented in a free reading at Cherry Lane Theatre (Studio) today, May 8 at 2 p.m. as part of Barefoot Theatre Company's Jankell/Vetere reading series. 'This Living Hand' is an unpublished work of Pulitzer-nominated playwright Richard Vetere.

The Festival renews its long-standing Gilbert and Sullivan tradition this season with The Pirates of Penzance. Directed by Ethan McSweeny, this new production begins previews at the Avon Theatre on May 3.
