BROOKLYN UNITED -- a high-octane, one-of-a-kind drum and dance corps comprised of 33 Brooklyn public school youngsters ages 5 to 17 -- will make its theatrical stage debut with BROOKLYN UNITED LIVE for three performances only June 8, 9 and 10 Off-Broadway at the Tony Award-winning La MaMa theater (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan, it has been announced by La MaMa's artistic director Mia Yoo. BROOKLYN UNITED LIVE is co-directed by Tyrone Brown, Renita Leonce, and Dan Safer and choreographed by Dara Adams.

New Diorama Theatre has announced today that their Edinburgh Fringe hit show Secret Life of Humans is transferring for a five-week run, at the Brits Off-Broadway which runs at New York's 59E59 Theaters from 30 May until 01 July 2018.

The 17th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival will deliver one of the most exceptional lineups of this year's festival season with headliners Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, TRAVIS SCOTT and ODESZA. Since 2004, director Mallory Catlett has worked across disciplines to expand the boundaries of theater. Through original works with her own company, Restless NYC, and collaborations with some of today's leading artists-composer Mika Karlsson (The Echo Drift), Dread Scott (Decision), Aaron Landsman (City Council Meeting & Perfect City)-Catlett creates theater that The New York Times calls "lurid, feverish and powerful." She has been called a "downtown treasure" by Time Out New York.

Molissa Fenley and Company, in collaboration with percussionist Frank Cassara and violist Ralph Farris, will present an evening of dance and live music, with scores by four contemporary composers. The program features four dances from Fenley's Water Table, three of which are New York premieres. The program also includes a new configuration of Fenley's 1979 work Mix. Performances are June 21–23 (Thursday–Saturday) at 8pm, at Danspace Project, 131 East 10th Street, New York, NY 10003.

The Brits Off Broadway season continues at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) with the US premiere of SECRET LIFE OF HUMANS, written by David Byrne and directed by Mr. Byrne & Kate Stanley.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced Questlove: Creative Quest, a one-night-only discussion and book signing event on April 28. Questlove-musician, bandleader, designer, producer, culinary entrepreneur, professor, founding Kennedy Center Hip Hop Culture Council member, and all-around cultural omnivore-will discuss his new book (released on April 24) and share his thoughts on the topics of creativity, inspiration, and originality with special guest Sanford Biggers, visual and interdisciplinary artist and moderator Ben Greenman (co-author, Mo' Meta Blues).

Born and raised in Rome, Roberto Campanella trained at the Scuola Italiana di Danza Contemporanea. In 1985, Roberto joined the Compagnia Italiana di Danza Contemporanea and later joined the prestigious Aterballetto. In 1993 he joined The National Ballet of Canada, where he was soon promoted to soloist and was cast in many classical and contemporary roles.
