On Tuesday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m., theCarnegie Hall Notables-a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s-presents yMusic in an exclusive concert in Zankel Hall for Notables members only featuring the acclaimed multi-instrumentalists (string trio, flute, clarinet, and trumpet) with special guest The Tallest Man on Earth. Following the concert, the Notables will gather in Carnegie Hall's Weill Terrace Room and Weill Music Room in the Resnick Education Wing for an after-party immediately following the performance with beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery, cocktails provided by The Balvenie, Hendrick's Gin, Milagro Tequila, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

Crashbox Theater Company announces an extension of its World Premiere production of KITCHEN SINK EXPERIMENT(S) by Colby Day. Director Andrew J Scoville has staged the production in an authentic Brooklyn apartment with a limited audience of 20 per performance. Performances will now run through November 13 at Brian & Simone's Apartment.

Young Jean Lee's STRAIGHT WHITE MEN will have its West Coast premiere November 20 - December 20, 2015, at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre, directed by Lee and presented in collaboration with the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA. The first U.S. performances of the play since The Public Theater presented its New York premiere last fall will feature a cast of Frank Boyd, Richard Riehle, Brian Slaten and Gary Wilmes.

The iconic Twyla Tharp is celebrating the 50th anniversary of her 1965 choreographic debut of Tank Dive with an American tour that includes one special stop in Toronto at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts. It has been over two decades since Twyla Tharp Dance last performed in Toronto.

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. Houseworld, a new surrealist immersive theater performance, will receive its world premiere at a transformed historic rectory in Brooklyn, October 8-November 21. One by one, 30 guests, greeted by an uncanny cast of characters, will step into a dream world designed to explore different facets of the human psyche. Guests are free to find their own path, from the dark recesses of the basement to the illumination of the attic. Pearl (www.PearlTheShow.com), a new American-Chinese dance-theatre spectacular, inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck, the first woman to win both the Nobel and the Pulitzer Prizes, will have its world premiere at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for 4 performances only, August 27-30th. The story, focusing on the substantial influence Pearl had on both Chinese and Western cultures, will be brought to life through new choreography by Daniel Ezralow (Ezralow Dance Company, MOMIX, Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony, Academy Awards), a new score composed by Jun Miyake (collaborations with Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, David Byrne and Oliver Stone) dazzling visuals and a company of 30 American and Chinese dancers.
