Drammy Winner Storm Large's CRAZY ENOUGH Extended Through JAW Weekend

With a three week extension that is already sold out and last night?s pick up of Drammy Awards for Original Music and Musical Actress in a Lead Role, Portland Center Stage is delighted announce a second extension for Crazy Enough, through July 26th, including 2 Late Night Performances at 10pm during Portland Center Stage?s new works festival, JAW, Friday July 24th and Saturday July 25th. The production will take a break June 29th through July 6th, picking back up with performances July 7th through the 26th, with Tuesday through Friday performances at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday matinee performances at 2:00 pm and one Saturday 7:30 performance on July 18th. There will be no Thursday matinees for the added extension weeks. Tickets range from $25.50 to $48.50, with student and under 30 discounts available. Rodriguez Liver Foundation. The event will take place at The Brandon Fradd Theatre at Whyte Hall in Fire Island Pines, Long Island, NY starting at 6PM. Ms. Ramirez and Mr. Kressley have united forces to honor their close friend Al D. Rodriguez, an actor, performer, producer, mentor, and creative tour de force with an evening of music and film.

Ken Kleiber of 'That's Kentertainment!' will be welcoming Patricia Resnick (bookwriter of '9 to 5 The Musical') as a guest on 'The Kentertainment Report' segment of the 'Frank DeCaro Show' Thursday April 23rd at Noon on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Channel 109. Resnick, also the co-screenwriter of the film '9 to 5', will discuss the upcoming Broadway opening of '9 to 5' The Musical plus other projects inlcuding a Nick, Jr. series she recently wrote and Executive-Produced, plus a new memoir she is currently penning. And, as a happy coincidence, Ms. Resnick wrote the Dolly Parton/James Woods vehicle 'Straight Talk', a film which happens to contain the first on-screen appearance of Ken Kleiber! Well 'True Believers', since that official statement, the 'webslinging' work has heated up, and the creative process is in full 'swing' (forgive us the pun, but c'mon...).

Flicker House Productions Presents THE QUESTION Starts 3/9

Flicker House Productions, headed by Brian Purcell, in association with the Ricardo Montalban Foundation will present THE QUESTION, an Indie Rock Ballet based upon J.T. Horenstein's experience while serving on a jury for a first degree murder trial. It is a full length, story-driven theatre piece, entirely danced to a progressive, independent rock score. Horenstein is the director and choreographer of this dynamic, entirely original idea, leading twenty-six dancers through this dark journey of murder and intrigue.
