YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the American premiere of HAPPY NOW? by Lucinda Coxon, directed by Liz Diamond, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street), October 24-November 15. Opening Night is October 30.

Tracy Letts' AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, winner of the 2008 Tony, Pulitzer Prize, Drama Desk, New York Drama Critics Circle, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Play, is proud to welcome Tony Award-nominee Johanna Day, in the role of 'Barbara Fordham,' and Michael Milligan, in the role of 'Little Charles' to the Broadway company on Tuesday, October 14th.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director), in association with Martin Hummel, present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Love Child, written and performed by Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins, Big River) and Robert Stanton (The Coast of Utopia, All in the Timing), as an added event of the 2008-2009 season. Under the direction of Carl Forsman, performances are set to begin Sunday evening, October 12, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. and will run in repertory with A Body of Water by Lee Blessing for a limited engagement through November 19, 2008. Opening night is October 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

Variety is reporting that director Daniel Sullivan has been brought on to the staff of Seattle Repertory Theatre in order to plan their 2009-10 season. He will be teaming up with current artistic director Jerry Manning. Manning recently replaced David Esbjornson.

The prestigious STAGE International Script Competition, now in its third year, announces this year's winner for the best new play about science and technology. Photograph 51, by New York playwright Anna Ziegler, was chosen by a stellar panel of judges, all multiple award-winners in their own right: Pulitzer Prize and Tony-Award winning playwright David Auburn; Tony, Olivier, and Obie Award-winning playwright John Guare; Nobel Laureate in physics and KBE Sir Anthony Leggett; Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire; and Nobel Laureate in physics Dr. Douglas Osheroff.

The World Science Festival (www.worldsciencefestival.com ) will present the world premiere staging of Dear Albert, a new work written by Emmy Award-winner and Academy and Tony Award-nominee Alan Alda. This humorous and provocative reading of selections from the letters of Albert Einstein, his wives and his friends, will star Tony Award-winning actor Anthony LaPaglia and will be directed by Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan.

(549 West 52nd Street). Performances begin Thursday, May 8th, and continue through Saturday, June 28th. MARATHON 2008 offers fifteen World Premieres of one-act plays in three separate evenings.
