Interrobang Theatre Project launches its 2017-18 Season, exploring the urgent question What is Truth?, with the Midwest premiere of Dawn King's darkly comic and politically relevant British drama FOXFINDER, directed by Literary Manager Margaret Knapp. FOXFINDER will play September 28 November 5, 2017 at The Athenaeum Theatre (Studio 2), 2936 N. Great Lakes Theater (GLT) commences its 2017-18 season at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square with a Fall Repertory that features the soaring musical epic in its Midwest premiere, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Shakespeare's magical comic masterpiece, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Having been summoned home to Denmark from school in Germany to attend his father's funeral, he is shocked to find his mother Gertrude already remarried to his Uncle Claudius, the dead king's brother, who has declared himself the king, though young Hamlet is the actual heir to the crown. Hamlet, rightly, suspects foul play.

When his suspiciously widowed mother swiftly marries his uncle, amidst demands for revenge from his murdered father's ghost, the young prince Hamlet resolves that something is indeed 'rotten in the state of Denmark.'

The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, February 17 - March 12, 2017. Joseph Hanreddy directs the production. Rising Sun Performance Company started out in a tiny coffee shop on 50th street, in 2001 with myself and two friends- David Anthony and Danielle Montezinos and a big idea.  The great big 'What If' - What if we created a place where we as performers were generating the work, selecting the work and casting ourselves? What if we created a place where we worked with people we loved, in a respectful and fun environment?  What if when a show was over we didn't have to say goodbye to all of the fabulous creative relationships we made during this show?  What if we just did this ourselves?

With so many of the smaller venues disappearing this series not only helps to fill a void by creating a new forum for musicians, but likewise offers the regional clientele the experience of an off the beaten path, nostalgic and intimate music sojourn. Many of the performers who are eager to be part of this series and help kick start it are specifically customizing their shows and designing performances just for this series.

The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, February 26 - March 20, 2016. Charles Fee, GLT's Producing Artistic Director, directs the production. And Then There Were None is presented through special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
