AMC Nabs 34 Emmy Award Nominations

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced this morning the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy(R) Award nominations, recognizing AMC with 34 nominations, the most for any basic cable network for the fifth year in a row, breaking the previous 29 nomination record for the network from 2011.
AMC Sets THE WALKING DEAD Season 3 Premiere for 10/14

AMC announced today from Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, CA the premiere of 'The Walking Dead' Season 3 on Sunday, October 14 at 9pm ET/PT. As previously announced, the series' third season will consist of 16 episodes. Season three will also air in two-parts with the first eight hours kicking off October 14 and returning February 2013 with the final eight episodes.

The premiere issue hitting comic book shops earlier this year, Image Comics' THIEF OF THIEVES is headed to the small screen. AMC announced today that the adaptation is in development from "The Walking Dead" executive producer/writer Robert Kirkman and Chic Eglee ('The Shield,' 'Dexter').

AMC announced today the renewal of 'The Walking Dead' for a third season. Season two continues to deliver the strongest telecasts for any drama in basic cable history against Adults 18-49 shattering a basic cable record set nearly 10 years ago for a single drama telecast ('The Dead Zone').

LIVING FOR TODAY, with musical direction by Nate Patten, and direction by David Alpert, played a one-night-only engagement at the newly renovated Joe's Pub last night, October 17, 2011 at 7:00PM. The fourth annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert showcased Broadway stars in an exciting night of music. This year's concert, titled FIRST NAME BASIS, featured everyone's favorite showtunes, but only those with a first name in the title. Proceeds go to the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund.
Youtube star Randy Rainbow made a special appearance in the video below, which features cameos by Stephen Spinella, Allison Case and Max Von Essen. Click below to check it out!
