Sleigh bells ring! Are you listenin'? In the lane snow is glistenin'--well, maybe. While the weather is unpredictable, one thing is certain-Sunday night December 13 a great time will be had by all when The Media Theatre presents the holiday themed concert 'Winter Wonderland' at 7pm.

In the summer of 2014, as Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Touré passed through New York, he got together with American vocalist Julia Easterlin for an impromptu studio session. Though this was the first time the two had met, in that session something divine happened, transcending what each was capable of on their own. Thus their collaboration was born and an entire album project, Touristes, conceived; to examine their respective musical roots and passions together and transform what they find into something entirely new and unique.

San Francisco-based singer / songwriter Pete Kronowitt has released a video performance for his new politically charged song, 'Change is Gonna Come,' recorded live from the Cafe du Soleil in Lower Haight. The hopeful anthem was inspired both by the legends of American folk, as well as today's struggle for justice and equity. Pete co-wrote the song with Atlanta-based Chuck McDowell at a recent songwriting retreat in Crisfield, Maryland.

SiriusXM announced today thatit will broadcast Phish's Magnaball Festivalin Watkins Glen, NY, August 20 through August 23, on SiriusXM's Jam On channel.

The Kentucky Center is offering a wide variety of entertainment this fall, as it enters its 32nd arts season. Fall performances will feature author/humorist David Sedaris, singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens and international renowned dance company Parsons Dance, as well as many others, including orchestras, acrobats and even dancing vegetables. Farm Aid today announced that Jamey Johnson, as well as Ian Mellencamp, will join the lineup for its annual concert for a cause, which will take place in Chicago at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Sept. 19.
