Casting has been announced for the St. Louis engagement of Disney's The Lion King. St. Louis' most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Fabulous Fox Theatre stage from April 19 to May 7. The press opening night isThursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The touring production of THE LION KING now playing at the Providence Performing Arts Center is absolutely exceptional. One would be hard-pressed to find a finer or stronger assembly of actors, singers, and dancers than this remarkable company.

Many throughout the world have seen the iconic story of The Lion King, the 1994 Disney musical animation that has captured the hearts of young and old alike, but to see it on stage is a whole other experience entirely.

Casting has been announced for the Providence engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. The six-time Tony Award winner triumphantly returns to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for a limited three-week engagement, from Tuesday, February 28 to Sunday, March 19, 2017.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, August 4 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

The August 4, 2016 Broadway in Bryant Park show included a performance by the Broadway cast of BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROL KING MUSICAL. Cast members for the event included Chilina Kennedy, James Harkness, Douglas Lyons, Alan Wiggins, and Dashawn Young performing the numbers 'Natural Woman,' 'On Broadway,' and 'I Feel The Earth Move.'

The national tour of BEAUTIFUL, the musical based on the life and legacy of Carole King, just arrived in Houston, where they'll perform for one week before landing at Dallas' Winspear Opera House. On Tuesday night, I was lucky enough to catch this former DFW local Josh Dawson on his way to the theatre. Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will launch a new digital lottery ticket policy beginning tomorrow, March 22. The album, available from Ghostlight Records, is also the 14th bestselling current album overall for the week and number 47 on the Billboard Top 200.  Digitally, the recording soared to number 5 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in its first day and was number 9 on Billboard's Current Digital Albums chart for its first week.
