FOLLIES, RELATIVELY SPEAKING Host Actors Fund Benefit Shows in Jan.

The Broadway productions of FOLLIES and RELATIVELY SPEAKING will host special, additional performances to benefit The Actors Fund in January, 2012. FOLLIES will play an nineth weekly show at the Marquis Theatre on Sunday, January 15 at 8pm. RELATIVELY SPEAKING will perform an additional weekly performance on January 29 at 8pm at its home, the Brooks Atkinson. (more...)

Actor Steve Guttenberg was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Monday, December 12th. Guttenberg, star of many films including Police Academy, and now starring on Broadway in the hit production of RELATIVELY SPEAKING, had his star unveiled in front of the Hollywood Division LAPD's Police Activities League office (PAL) at 6411 Hollywood Boulevard. The three one-act comedies that comprise Relatively Speaking are said to be connected by their common theme of finding humor blossoming from the family tree.  But really, don't be bothered with any themes or messages in this one.  All that matters is that playwrights Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, director John Turturro and a company loaded with top-notch comedy actors have whipped up a solid evening of laughs that just gets funnier and funnier as the night goes on.
