Tony Award-nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables) will headline the Saturday, January 28th at 7pm performance of JACQUES BREL RETURNS...The Music of Brel, Blau, Shuman and Jouannest at The Triad. Joining Cuccioli will be Tamra Hayden (Les Miserables on Broadway), Arlo Hill (Where's Charley? at Encores! directed by John Doyle), Rick Hip-Flores (who has performed in the pits of Billy Elliot, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular) and Ereni Sevasti (The Bacchae at The Public, Carnival at The Kennedy Center).

Bay Street Theatre has announced that Josh Grisetti, who played David Kalowitz in last summer's ENTER LAUGHING, THE MUSICAL, has been named one of the finalists for the 2011 Clive Barnes Foundation Award.

Astaire Awards Associate Producer Carolyn Kendall Buchter and Alix Michel, the Co-Chairs of the 30th Anniversary Awards Gala were also on hand to welcome guests that included such theater world glitterati as 5 time Astaire Award winner Susan Stroman, producers Emanuel Azenberg, Wendy Federman and Dan Whitten, SDC Executive Director Laura Penn, Lee Roy Reams, Bruce Michael, NYC Dance Alliance Executive Director Joe Lanteri, J. Elaine Marcos (Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), Kearann Giovanni (Hugh Jackman Back to Broadway), Meggie Cansler (Wicked), Rob Ashford (How to Succeed...), actresses Sondra Lee, Sarah Bierstock, Cassandra Seidenfeld Lyster & Jacquelin Murphy. Presented by Dan Whitten, Mark Beigelman, Peter Martin and Tiger Theatricals, Jacques Brel RETURNS... is a new cabaret production now in its second year featuring a rotating cast performing highlights from Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris as well as Brel songs not in the original score.
