Calling singers, dancers and actors ages 15+ August 15 & 16 The Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) will hold open auditions for its 2009-2010 Season Saturday & Sunday, August 15 & 16 from 1PM-5PM at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center (EJ High School Auditorium), 400 Phlox Street in Metairie.

A collection of monologues, a collection of Chekhov short plays and a collection of nuns make up the Saint Sebastian Players' 29th season, as well as the company's annual Monologue Matchup Competition fundraiser.

Sally Struthers leads the heavenly 25th anniversary tour of 'Nunsense' at the Reagle Players in Waltham, Mass. now through April 26

Two time Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers is getting into the habit (literally!) of returning to the Reagle stage. After her stint there this past summer, there's more funny business in store from All in the Family's Struthers.

Gateway Playhouse, the 'foremost summer professional regional theatre' (Newsweek), announces its 60th anniversary season celebrating some of Broadway's biggest Tony Award winning hits: Miss Saigon, A Chorus Line, The Drowsy Chaperone, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Sophisticated Ladies and Meshuggah-Nuns.

Most recently Swindley has premiered three new musicals, STEP INTO MY PARLOR (Tulsa, OK), SUMMER OF '66 (Myrtle Beach, SC), and SWINGSTEP (Toronto, Canada). SWINGSTEP was nominated for the Best Musical award in Canada, (comparable to the Tony awards in America.) Swindley also directed THE HONKY TONK ANGELS and STEP INTO MY PARLOR at the Picolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC.
