City Theatre announces casting for the four original plays set for MOMENTUM, the theatre's annual festival of new plays at different stages. This year's selection features three of City's favorite alums as well as a distinguished playwright new to Pittsburgh audiences. The play's themes run the gamut from technology and football to history and community.

Off The Wall Productions, continues the Year and Season of the Female Playwright with Well, Lisa Kron's 2006 Tony Award-nominated autobiographical play. Directed by: Melissa Hill Grande, with: Daina Michelle Griffith as Lisa and Virginia Wall Gruenert as Ann. The ensemble: includesTony Bingham, Linda Haston, Alan Bomar Jones, Susie McGregor-Laine.

While Off The Wall Theater was busy, Off the Wall Productions has been on hiatus. They have just announced that they will open their season on Oct. 25, 2013 with 'The Zero Hour' , a play written by Madeleine George (Precious Little, City Theatre 2011) as a member of 13P Playwrights Collective.

The REP, Point Park University's professional theatre company, opens its 2013-2014 season with All My Sons, Arthur Miller's riveting story of a seemingly All-American family caught up in the struggle between personal responsibility and their duty to the nation. Directed by Robert A. Miller, All My Sons runs now through September 22 in the Rauh Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

The Cultivating Culture Series, a series of performances of new work designed to foster a culture of creativity as well as engage with the culture of Pittsburgh, are all being held at ModernFormations Gallery, continuing tonight, September 22 and October 13 & 27.
