Chicago Shakespeare Theater announces the return of in-person performances at the Theater’s home on Navy Pier with the much-awaited debut of As You Like It infused with the hit songs of The Beatles, beginning October 6, 2021. 

Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express; Ellisa Sun; and Mari Mack & Livin' Like Kings just added to the 2nd annual Bear Music Fest lineup. The three day, all-inclusive summer camp, house party, music festival goes down Friday throughSunday, September 8th-10th, 2017, at Lair of The Golden Bear in Pinecrest, California. Located in Tuolumne County — approximately 2.5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area — Bear Music Fest offers a unique all-inclusive experience. Weekend festival passes range from $195 - $300 and include accommodations, meals, all performances (20+) and workshops.

The Q Brothers' Othello: The Remix, presented by John Leguizamo, written, composed and directed by GQ and JQ and developed with Rick Boynton, will play its final performance on Sunday, January 15th, 2017.

To say that The Q Brothers put a new spin on OTHELLO might be too obvious a pun, but their fun and lively hip-hop retelling of Shakespeare's tragedy of racism and revenge, Othello: The Remix not only sets the Elizabeth characters to rap rhythms, but switches the whole story around to the present-day music industry.

The hip-hop continued with Othello: The Remix and it's opening night audience with DJ Supernova playing hits for the celebrants at Stage 48 and BroadwayWorld was there.
