On Tuesday April 30th, 2013, members of the Broadway Company of Chicago joined forces with Sing For Your Seniors to bring a very special performance to the seniors at Encore Senior Center. The musical performance hosted by Sing For Your Seniors' Executive Director Jackie Vanderbeck, included songs of the performer's choosing as well of songs from Chicago. Yesterday, December 20, Broadway's globally acclaimed revival of the Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO celebrated another momentous milestone and record-breaking when it played performance #6,681. With that 8 p.m. performance at the historic Ambassador Theatre, CHICAGO surpassed the original Broadway production of Les Miserables to become the third longest-running show in Broadway history. As previously announced, this fall, Broadway's acclaimed record-breaking revival of the Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO will welcome singer, songwriter, actor and multi-platinum recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus in his Broadway stage debut as 'that silver-tongued prince of the courtroom,' slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn. Cyrus will play a limited seven-week engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.) this holiday season, Monday November 5 through Sunday, December 23. Beginning today, Jackie Burns and Chandra Lee Schwartz will assume the roles of Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, in the Broadway cast of Wicked. Ms. Burns and Ms. Schwartz come to Broadway directly from Wicked's First National Tour. The Broadway company currently features Richard H. Blake as Fiyero, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, Tom McGowan as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Cristy Candler as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.

Over fifteen Broadway and National Tour performers will join notable personalities on Monday, June 27, 2011 to celebrate New York City's Gay Pride at The LGBT Center in Manhattan. Broadway Sings for Pride: A Benefit Concert, is being produced by Neal B of NealB.tv and will benefit The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. Attendees will enjoy the vast array of songs from Lady Gaga to The Beatles, along with a plethora of Broadway hits. Musical performances will feature cast members from The Book of Mormon, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rent, Wonderland, Mamma Mia, Anything Goes and many more! Jim Lahti will serve as the evening's musical director and Carly Jibson (Broadway's Hairspray and Cry-Baby) will emcee. Musical accompaniment will be provided Jim Lahti on piano, Sean Harkness on acoustic & electric guitar and David Silliman on percussion. Kat Dudina and Mia Grottola, American Sign Language interpreters, will be signing for the hard of hearing and deaf community.
