jackbenny will present the ninth edition of their monthly residency at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre in Silver Lake on Sunday, November 4, at 7:30pm. (The final performance in the jackbenny residency is set for Sunday, December 9, at 7pm.) Percussionist Theo Seidmon will team with the Lipson duo along with special guests in a two-act show that features wittily provocative original songs, uniquely arranged covers, and friendly guest performers … all seasoned with the brothers' signature sibling shtick. 

Following Reprise's successful re-launch (as the newly christened REPRISE 2.0) with a crowd-pleasing SWEET CHARITY, REPRISE 2.0 mounts THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND on the Freud Playhouse boards beginning September 5, 2018. We had the chance to chat with one of WORLD's talented cast members, theatre vet Valerie Perri on being back with Reprise, while hitting highlights of her extensive theatrical career.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long awards season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. We can't help but wonder what chances this year's Best Musical and Best Play nominees have of taking home the ultimate prize...

Former Beatles member Ringo Starr will be knighted as part of the New Year's Honors according to Talk Entertainment. The 77 year-old rock star is to be recognized for his contributions to music and charity.
