Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that Beast, written by Michael Weller and directed by Jo Bonney, will begin performances Friday, August 29 at 8pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Opening night is scheduled for Monday, September 15 at 7pm. The production will run through Sunday, October 12.

The Summer Play Festival announces casting for the eagerly anticipated Summer Play Festival (SPF) now celebrating its fifth season in New York. Suzanne Shaw, who has just won the ITV television series Dancing on Ice, will return to the West End stage to star as Roxie Hart in the smash hit West End musical Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre on Monday 2 June for six weeks only (finishing on 12 July). Her other television credits include The Bill, City Central and Holby City. A member of Hear'Say (the original winners of television's Popstars), Suzanne has had several hit singles.
