Friends Always Creating Theatre lives-up to its name as they open their 5th season. They are one of the most prolific companies in New York City and will start this season by presenting a One-Night Only Staged Reading of 'The Lost Boy' by the late Ron Paolillo (aka Ron Pallilo) starring Broadway's Blake Hammond and Guiseppe Bausilio.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) has announced an exciting Fall season of theatre, comedy and music. All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains.

The Flea Theater will present the limited Off-Broadway engagement of FAMILY FURNITURE by A.R. Gurney. It is directed by Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail (In The Heights) starring Carolyn McCormick (Law & Order), Peter Scolari (Girls, Newhart, Bosom Buddies), and Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) with newcomers Ismenia Mendes and Molly Nordin. Previews begin November 12 at The Flea with opening slated for Sunday, November 24.

Roundabout Theatre Company has officially announced that Oscar nominee Michelle Williams will star for the first time on Broadway as 'Sally Bowles' in its upcoming production of Cabaret. She will take the stage at Studio 54 alongside Alan Cumming as the Emcee, reprising the role that won him a Tony Award in 1998.

From tonight, September 5-15, 2013, Houston Ballet launches its 44th season with a mixed repertory program of premieres by emerging and established choreographers. Famed choreographer James Kudelka will create a new work for the company. British master and Houston Ballet's associate choreographer Christopher Bruce's Intimate Pages will have its Houston Ballet premiere. World premieres by Garrett Smith and Melissa Hough round out the program.

From September 19-29, 2013, Houston Ballet presents Ronald Hynd's comic and enchanting The Merry Widow.Adapted from Franz Lehar's beloved operetta, the internationally-admired British choreographer Ronald Hynd adds a new layer of lavish spectacle and choreography to the original story of The Merry Widow to create an irresistibly charming and intoxicating tale of high jinks, finance, romance, and intrigue. The production features magnificent scenery and costumes by Italian designer Roberta Guidi di Bagno. The company will give seven performances at Wortham Theater Center in downtown Houston. Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the nation's leading Latino dance organization since 1970, will perform in Program 3 of the 10th Anniversary Season of Fall for Dance Festival at New York City Center on Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 8pm. The October 9 gala opening night program of Portland's 2013 FashioNXT will be held at 8 pm at the Vigor Shipyard will feature top Filipino fashion designers to mark observance of Filipino American History Month. The show, in recognition of the Philippines' continuing contribution to America's rich cultural heritage, will blend traditional and modern styles and fabrics including rare textiles made from pineapple fiber.

The Imperial Riding School Renaissance Vienna Hotel is located in a former military riding school, built in 1850, so when it came time to update the guest rooms, the goal was to bring this hotel in Vienna city center into the present without losing sight of its past.
