The Los Angeles Philharmonic begins its 2012/13 season with an evening honoring the rich tradition of dance rhythms in orchestral music with its Opening Night Concert and Gala: The Philharmonic Dances, led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, Thursday, September 27, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Philharmonic Dances opens with a pre-concert cocktail reception, at 6 pm, followed by the 7 pm concert, with dinner and dancing to follow.

The Kennedy Center presents Come Fly Away in the Eisenhower Theater from April 18-29, 2012. Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award® winner and Kennedy Center Honoree Twyla Tharp (Movin' Out) and by special arrangement with the Frank Sinatra Family and Frank Sinatra Enterprises, Come Fly Away blends the legendary vocals of Frank Sinatra with a live on-stage big band and 14 of the world's finest dancers. The show's score combines classic and newly discovered vocal performances from the Sinatra archives, along with Sinatra's signature arrangements by Nelson Riddle, Billy May and Quincy Jones, among others, and brand new charts, for this fresh innovative musical. Press night will take place on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The new Broadway musical and U.S. National Tour of COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, made its Los Angeles debut at the Pantages Theatre Tuesday, October 25 for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement thru November 6, 2011. Michael Sterling, co-producer and Los Angeles correspondent for Broadway World TV, along with Associate Producer Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, Inc. covered the evening's festivities. The star-studded guest list included many of the late Sinatra's celebrity friends and family members. After attending the performance, Sterling said 'In short, the show is an intoxicating marriage of pure harmony and wedded bliss.'

Direct from the original Broadway cast of COME FLY AWAY and the Las Vegas production of Sinatra Dance With Me are principal dancers Matthew Stockwell Dibble, Cody Green, Laurie Kanyok, Marielys Molina, John Selya and Ron Todorowski- also starring in the tour as principals are Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Martin Harvey, Ramona Kelley and Christopher Vo. COME FLY AWAY launches its North American tour today at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Direct from the original Broadway cast of COME FLY AWAY and the Las Vegas production of Sinatra Dance With Me are principal dancers Matthew Stockwell Dibble, Cody Green, Laurie Kanyok, Marielys Molina, John Selya and Ron Todorowski.

The producers of the new Broadway musical, COME FLY AWAY, announced the cast today for the North American tour of the show, launching at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, on August 2, 2011.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA will host the Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and present Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance, and film, as well as two Princess Grace Statue Awards to Brian Kulick and Gillian Murphy, artists who have previously won Awards and have shown achievement and growth in their respective fields.
