Dive on in with the dazzling cast of Dallas Summer Musicals' production of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID! The fun-filled, timeless tale will play at the Music Hall at Fair Park March 11-27, 2016, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals. This colorful production will make its Fort Worth debut at Bass Performance Hall March 29 - April 3, 2016, presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth.

Since Sacramento last saw "The Little Mermaid," director Glenn Casale has fin(e)-tuned Disney's script and created a near-perfect,  spectacle of a production. The unofficial mini-tour of the show comes to Sacramento courtesy of California Musical Theatre this week only and is already sold out.

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, will continue their 20thAnniversary Season with the Broadway musical A CLASS ACT. The one-night-only concert will take place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 7:00 PM.

Hollywood with a divine program of entertainment. Among the stellar singers were Joan Ryan, Ruth Williamson, Sharon Catherine Brown, Scott Harlan, Jeffrey Christopher Todd, Walter Winston ONeil, Chelsea Field and producer Dianne Fraser, and a very special treat Tim Curry and one of his original song partners from the days of Rocky Horror onstage Jamie Donnelly, all under the baton of the one and only musical director Brad Ellis. This was not a Christmas program as such, but Broadway fare sprinkled with a couple of holiday tunes. Ellis, as always, with his inimitable style - he looks and comes off totally dry and unrehearsed - was sheer delight as he opened the show with 'You're Here', a delicious original composition.

AN EVENING OF CLASSIC BROADWAY will have its final performance of 2015 on Monday, December 14th.  L.A.'s hottest cabaret and concert venue, Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Feliz, has a bonafide hit with this ongoing line-up show.

Kritzerland at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal presents YOU'RE GONNA HEAR FROM ME: THE SONGS OF ANDRE PREVIN on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 7:00 PM.

Founded by BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling (On-air Producer and Host for live entertainment news events in Los Angeles), Sterling's Upstairs first opened its doors at the renowned Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City, CA. where it single handedly brought back to Los Angeles the art of intimate upscale cabaret concerts which had all but vanished from the cultural scene in movie town, USA.  However, in due time, the venue was whole heartedly embraced by enthusiasts of LA's performing arts community and continued to thrive for 6 successful years in a former storage room that was transformed by Sterling into a true supper club environment.  

It's difficult for any production to take on Shakespeare, especially such a beloved classic as Romeo & Juliet, but 'Love Is A Battlefield' is more than up to the challenge.

Batman, and The Transfer Group present the Los Angeles premiere of the all-new, reimagined, environmental and completely immersive theater production of the legendary musical CARRIE THE MUSICAL. Performances started at Southern California's La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (14900 La Mirada Blvd.) on Thursday, March 12, 2015 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 5, 2015. On February 2, the 54th version of Kritzerland At Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal delighted its packed house with songs (some memorable, some lesser known) of American Songbook composer Jerome Kern. Hosted, as always, by the personable and very knowledgeable Bruce Kimmel; each song had elaborate intros of fun facts with recognizable celebs in sometimes unusual contexts. Kimmel's a gem of an emcee!

On Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Thursday, Dec. 18, Upright Cabaret celebrated its 9th annual 'A Broadway Christmas' combining the best of Broadway with the carols of Christmastime at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, CA. Produced by Chris Isaacson Presents in association with Ryan O'Connor.

X-Factor finalist Stacy Francis and Wicked star Nick Adams have joined the cast of Upright Cabaret's 9th Annual A Broadway Christmas, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents and Ryan O'Connor, co-producers of the holiday event. Hosted by six-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Vilanch with musical direction by Gregory Nabours, there will be two performances only on Wednesday, December 17 and Thursday, December 18, both at 8:30pm at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood.
