Executive Producers Roy Nevans and John Lant, in association with Edmund Gaynes, have announced the extention of 2 By Tennessee Williams: 27 WAGONS FULL OF COTTON starring Kathryn Luce Garfunkel and KINGDOM OF EARTH. Both plays are directed by Marilyn Fried and will run now through October 1st.

2016 Square One Theatre Subscriber Award Winners Announced

Stratford's Square One Theatre Company concluded its twenty-sixth anniversary season recently with the annual presentation of its Subscriber Awards. The awards were selected by the theatre's nearly 1,000 subscribers who voted for performers in various acting categories from the company's three-play, 2015-16 season. This was the first season for the theatre's new space onstage at Stratford Academy.

Encores! Artistic Director Jack Viertel today announced casting for the Encores! production of Do I Hear a Waltz?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Do I Hear a Waltz? will star Claybourne Elder, Melissa Errico, Sarah Hunt, Zachary Infante, Cass Morgan, Richard Poe, Michael Rosen, Sarah Stiles, and Richard Troxell. The ensemble includes Kristine Bendul, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Jenny Laroche, Jennifer Locke, Nathan Madden, Skye Mattox, Devin Roberts, Manny Stark, and Alex Wong.

The Tony Award-winning Drama Book Shop will welcome playwright Christopher Shinn to the legendary store for a discussion and signing of his work on Friday, February 19th at 5:00pm. For the first time in the book shop's 99-year history, the event will be live-streamed on Periscope. You can follow the shop and it's stream on Twitter @dramabookshop. The live-stream will begin 5 minutes prior to the event's official start time.
