This summer, Museum of the Moving Image will present See It Big! 70mm, every weekend from August 7 through 30, featuring eight films made between 1961 and 2014 -- all of them shot in 70mm and to be shown in 70mm prints in the majestic Sumner M. Redstone Theater.

The Bay Street Shakespeare Initiative and Hamptons Shakespeare Festival are proud to announce that Piper Perabo will star as Viola in their upcoming co-production of outdoor staged readings of TWELFTH NIGHT, OR WHAT YOU WILL by William Shakespeare on August 14 and 15 at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor, NY. The Public Theater announced a one-week extension today for George Brant's Grounded, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor and featuring Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway. Grounded began previews on Tuesday, April 7 and will now run an additional week through Sunday, May 24 in the Anspacher Theater, with an official press opening on Sunday, April 26.

The Public Theater announced today that George Brant's spellbinding, ripped-from-the-headlines play GROUNDED, with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, has been added to the 2014-15 downtown season. Directed by Academy Award nominee and two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, GROUNDED marks the return to the Public Theater stage for Hathaway who played Viola in the 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night. GROUNDED will begin performances in the Anspacher Theater on Tuesday, April 7 and run through Sunday, May 17, with an official press opening on Thursday, April 23.
