Producer Riki Kane Larimer (Fiddler on the Roof, Tappin' Thru Life, On The Town, Gigi) presents the new hit Off-Broadway musical, CAGNEY, with book by Peter Colley (The Donnelly) and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern (Fame, First Wives Club). Performances begin tomorrow, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. for an open-ended engagement at The Westside Theatre - Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street). Opening Night is Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

The 6th annual BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - a concert that raises much-needed funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - was held last night at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St.). Hosted by Julie Halston, performers included: Lisa Howard (IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU), Margo Seibert (ROCKY), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (ONCE UPON A MATTRESS),Daveed Diggs (HAMILTON), Randy Graff (CITY OF ANGELS), Cady Huffman (THE PRODUCERS), Judy Kaye(PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), Telly Leung (ALLEGIANCE), and Robert Creighton (THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, CAGNEY).

The 6th annual BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - a concert that raises much-needed funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - will be the recipient of a Mayor Proclamation when the event takes place on Monday, February 29 at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St.) at 6;30 pm in NYC, it has been announced by Julie Halston, the event's emcee and one of its founders and producers.

Theatre Aspen announced today a new partnership with the Wheeler Opera House that will launch with a special concert featuring Broadway, television and recording star Susan Egan.  The concert takes place Sunday, March 6th, at 8 pm.  Tickets are available at aspenshowtix.com and are priced at $55.

 Producer Riki Kane Larimer (Fiddler on the Roof, Tappin' Thru Life, On The Town, Gigi)has announced the Off-Broadway transfer of The York Theatre Company's acclaimed production of the new musical, Cagney with book by Peter Colley (The Donnelly) and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern (Fame, First Wives Club).  Cagney received its New York premiere at The York Theatre Company, last spring, where it played a limited five-week sold out engagement.  This new updated, expanded and revised version will begin performances begin on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. for an open-ended engagement at The Westside Theatre - Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street).  Opening Night is set for Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

Daveed Diggs - one of the breakout stars of the Broadway musical HAMILTON - has joined the line-up for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - the sixth annual concert, featuring Broadway stars in an evening of music and comedy that benefits the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, it has been announced by the event organizers.  BROADWAY BELTS takes a leap this Leap Year and will be presented at a larger venue due to increased demand with more glamour, more songs, more seats (!) on Sadie Hawkins Day, Monday, February 29 at 7 pm at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47 St.) in New York City.

Broadway quadruple threat and Bistro Award winner, Robert Creighton, who recently starred as the title character in the critically lauded CAGNEY at the York Theatre Company, brings an all new show, 'Lucky In Love,' to Metropolitan Room on Monday, February 8 at 7pm. Creighton will sing a love and romance-themed repertoire in honor of the season, and you can expect to experience a spectrum from laughter to tears. The journey from the 21st Century back to Hollywood's glamourous golden age is an inspiring one when your "tour guides" are the legendary Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire - portrayed by Darien Crago and Jeremy Benton in Westchester Broadway Theatre's production of Lynnette Barkley and Christopher McGovern's Backwards in High Heels: The Ginger Musical, running August 13-September 20.

'The more real you play it, the better for any piece, even a comedic piece like this one.' Stage and television actor Robert Creighton is talking about his upcoming role debut in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, which opens August 6th at the Maine State Music Theatre. Creighton, who is playing the meaty role of Frankenstein's bungling, hunchbacked assistant Igor, says of his approach to the part, 'The script is so good, so honed that I just have to say the words and stay out of their way. I don't have to mug. It is so well-crafted that I simply embrace the stupidity of it all, enjoy that and watch the audience enjoy it, too. When you play it for real, you are not making fun of the humor or commenting on the material, and the situation takes care of itself.'
