SiriusXM announced today that it will present an exclusive Town Hall special with the Tony Award® nominated cast and creative team of the Broadway musical HAMILTON. The Q&A session, hosted by Anderson Cooper, will air on SiriusXM's On Broadway channel. HAMILTON was recently nominated for a record breaking 16 Tony Award® nominations including Best Musical.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, HAMILTON leading man Lin-Manuel Miranda will be exiting the show at the end of July to focus on his upcoming projects, including the starring role in Disney's MARY POPPINS opposite Emily Blunt. Last week, Miranda told CBS This Morning, 'Everyone's contracted for a year and everyone has the option to re-up and we'll see where we'll land.'

Who really cares about spring? Awards season has arrived- the only time of the year that really matters to Broadway fans everywhere. The 2016 Tony nominees were announced earlier this week, with a record 16 nods going to HAMILTON, and show like SHUFFLE ALONG, SHE LOVES ME and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT also picking up a considerable amount of recognition.
Just yesterday the nominees flocked to the Paramount Hotel, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news.
