The multiple Emmy-Award winning Bruce Vilanch has been announced as the host of the 9th Annual Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall. The unique All-Performance Awards show that honors the most outstanding performers in The categories of Cabaret, Comedy and Jazz in the clubs of New York, will take place on January 31, 2011. Presenters for the event have not yet been announced.

In what is essentially a biographical history lesson set to his music, BROADWAY UP CLOSE & PERSONAL: A TRIBUTE TO CY COLEMAN--now performing through December 12 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center's Samueli Theater--combines an entertaining cabaret showcase with a truly engrossing symposium teaching Coleman 101. Luke Grooms will present his solo show, PUT THE JUNK IN YOUR TRUNK on Wednesday December 8th at 7:30pm at Germano's Trattoria. The show will consist of works by new theatre composers.
