Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for Richard Brinsley Sheridan's The School For Scandal, directed by Marc Vietor: Dana Ivey (Tony Award nominee for Butley, The Rivals, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Sunday in the Park with George, Heartbreak House); Mark Linn-Baker (My Favorite Year, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Year with Frog and Toad, 'Perfect Strangers'); Frances Barber (internationally renowned West End actress: King Lear and The Seagull with Ian McKellen at BAM, the Donmar's Julius Caesar at St Ann's Warehouse, 'Doctor Who,' Prick Up Your Ears, and the Pet Shop Boys musical Closer to Heaven); and Henry Stram (Titanic, The Grey Zone), along with Helen Cespedes, Christian Conn, Christian DeMarais, Jacob Dresch, Ramsey Faragallah, Ryan Garbayo, Bradley Gibson, Nadine Malouf, Ben Mehl, and Derek Smith ('Tis Pity She's a Whore, The Green Bird - Tony Award nomination).

Red Bull Theater will present the penultimate Revelation Reading of the season, Richard Brinsley Sheridan's The School for Scandal, directed by Marc Vietor, with musical direction by Brian Trenis. The School for Scandal will feature Charles Busch, Everett Quinton, and Paxton Whitehead, along with Bill Army, Helen Cespedes, Alan Coates, Christian DeMarais, Peter Eyre, Kevin Isola, Richard Holmes, Amelia Pedlow, Gayle Rankin, Derek Smith, and more. One night only - Monday, June 29th at Cherry Lane Theater (38 Commerce Street).

Currently onstage at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis is the period musical spectacular Roman Holiday. Based on the iconic film, the show features the music of Cole Porter, including hits like 'Easy to Love,' 'Begin the Beguine,' 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye' and 'Riding High', in addition to rarely heard gems that fit perfectly into the story. The production began preview performances on June 9 and opens tonight, June 15. The run is scheduled to continue through August 19 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage. Guthrie Artistic Producing Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany helms.

Stephanie Rothenberg leads the cast of Roman Holiday as Princess Anne-a radiant young woman in Rome on a widely publicized European tour who sneaks away from her royal duties to explore the city. Rothenberg recently made her Broadway debut stepping into the role of Rosemary in the Tony-nominated revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Edward Watts plays Joe Bradley-a handsome, crafty American newspaper reporter who charms the princess. Watts most recently appeared in the long-running production of The Fantasticks in New York City.
