Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and country music superstar Scotty McCreery today announced a call for entries to their 'Five More Minutes' video contest. Fans are encouraged to submit a one to three-minute video clip of them reuniting with the people in their lives they want to spend five more minutes with including their families and friends, as well as loved ones in military service. Submitted videos will have the chance to be featured in a new music video for McCreery's hit single 'Five More Minutes,' premiering March 15, 2018 on Cracker Barrel's YouTube channel.

The Country Music Association has revealed the recipients of the ninth annual CMA Triple Play Awards, an honor presented to songwriters who pen three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period based on the Country Aircheck, Billboard Country Airplay and Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Ashley Gorley will receive three trophies in recognition of nine No. 1 songs, while Shane McAnally will receive two trophies in recognition of his six No. 1 songs.

The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) today announced the nominees for the 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts, one of the nation's highest honors for high school students who exemplify academic and artistic excellence. YoungArts is the sole nominating agency for this high honor and the 60 candidates, representing 25 states and nine artistic disciplines, are all YoungArts winners. The students have been nominated to the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program for their artistic achievement on the heels of the organization's annual signature program, National YoungArts Week, which concluded in Miami on January 14.

CMA Songwriters Series will return to London's indigo at The O2 Thursday, March 8 as part of the sixth annual C2C (Country 2 Country) festival. On Saturday, January 13, 2018, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) announced the appointment of Sarah Arison as Chair of the Board of Trustees during the organization's largest annual fundraiser, the Backyard Ball performance and gala. Ms. Arison will assume the position immediately. The celebratory evening honored Academy Award-winning playwright and YoungArts master teacher Tarell Alvin McCraney (1999 YoungArts Winner in Theater) with the 2018 Arison Alumni Award for his contributions and commitment to the arts.
