Earlier today, the smash musical Waitress celebrates its first anniversary on Broadway with a gravity-defying four-tiered topsy-turvy celebration of all things pie! The four-foot tall custom-made confection was created by the show's pie consultant Stacy Donnelly.  BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the birthday celebration below!

Waitress continues on a winning streak at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre, once again breaking the weekly gross sales record by bringing in $1,381,419.90 for the 8-performance week ending on Easter Sunday (April 16, 2017). The previous record, $1,331,954.30, was set with the nine (9) performance week ending January 1, 2017.

Just announced, the Broadway hit Waitress will welcome beloved Broadway leading man and Tony Award nominee Will Swenson on March 31 in the role of Earl, the ne'er-do-well husband of the show's leading character, Jenna, who will be played by Sara Bareilles beginning the same day.
