The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize previously announced 12 Finalists for its prestigious playwriting award, the oldest and largest prize awarded to women playwrights. The winner of the 2014-2015 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize will be named at the Awards Presentation today, March 2 in New York City.

DEVIL IN THE DETAIL is a dressing-room drama about the politics of fashion starring Pippa Bennett-Warner (Witness at the Royal Court), Lucy Ellinson (Grounded at the Gate Theatre) and Vanessa Kirby (A Streetcar Named Desire at the Young Vic). This microplay was written by Chloe Moss (The Gatekeeper, This Wide Night) and directed by Christopher Haydon (Grounded, Gate Theatre), after a conversation with Hadley Freeman.

Sundance Institute and the LUMA Foundation today announced that the two organizations will again collaborate to host the second Sundance Institute | LUMA Foundation Theatre Directors Retreat in Arles, France, July 29 through August 11. NAKED ANGELS Announces Liz Carlson as New Artistic Director

Naked Angels, the eclectic downtown theater company that recently partnered with the New School for Drama under the leadership of Naked Angels founding company member Pippin Parker, is pleased to announce that New School alumna Liz Carlson will assume the role of Artistic Director of Naked Angels beginning May 1, 2013, further enhancing the relationship between the two companies. Current Artistic Director Andy Donald, who succeeded Geoffrey Nauffts in July 2011 after two years as Associate Artistic Director, departs the company for a new position as a creative producer at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
