The Almeida Theatre presents Dante or Die's I DO, by Chloe Moss and directed by Daphna Attias with costume design by Jenny Hayton. The production runs Wednesday 26 February to Sunday 9 March 2014 at Hilton Hotel, Docklands London. PRESS NIGHT: THURSDAY 27 FEBRUARY AT 7pm OR 9.15PM.

Dante or Die's critically acclaimed I Do returns for a limited run at the Hilton Hotel, Docklands, following its sell-out success in August as part of the Almeida Festival.

The ceremony begins in ten minutes. The Best Man is practicing his last minute speech. The Bridesmaids are squeezing the bride into her dress. Mum and Dad are seeing each other for the first time in years. Grandma is dressing her husband whilst the groom's brother is getting frisky with the maid of honour. Meanwhile, the Groom is frozen...Love and marriage collide in this site-specific tour through six hotel rooms; a funny, vivid and often moving exploration of life dressed (and undressed) in all its finery, seen through the lens of an everyday family wedding.

Created by Co-Artistic Directors Daphna Attias and Terry O'Donovan with words by award-winning playwright Chloe Moss, this much admired production allows the audience to capture intimate moments of a wedding party ten minutes before a couple say those life changing words, I Do.

The cast includes Anna Carteret, Terry O'Donovan, Rachel Drazek, Tas Emiabata, Anna Richmond, Penelope McGhie, Andrew Bridgmont, Christopher Dunham, Christopher Reynolds, Zoe Hunter and Sarah Hunt.

Divided into six groups, audiences will embark on their journey in a different order to discover how the twists and turns within the plot evolve depending on their particular sequence.

As the piece develops the audience puts together a family jigsaw, with each group leaving the show with a slightly different perspective on family, relationships and what it means to be married.

I Do was co-commissioned by the Almeida Festival along with Southstreet Reading and is generously supported by Arts Council England and Unity Theatre Trust.

The Almeida Festival 2013 was supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, The Eranda Foundation, Jon & NoraLee Sedmak, The Mackintosh Foundation and Warsteiner Premium German Pilsner.
