Thornton Wilder's Our Town, winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, will be presented by the RIC Mainstage Theatre Feb. 18-22 in the Helen Forman Theatre at Rhode Island College, 600 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Show times are 7:30 p.m. (Feb. 18-21) and 2 p.m. (Feb. 21-22). Admission is $15.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts dives headfirst into to its blockbuster 2014-2015 Season with The Graduate, Terry Johnson's hit stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning 1967 film written by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry and the 1963 cult novel by Charles Webb. Directed by Andrew Shaver, starring Luke Humphrey and Brigitte Robinson and featuring live music on stage by Justin Rutledge and Matthew Barber, this summer sizzler launches the Segal Centre's new season from August 31-September 21, 2014. Starring Luke Humphrey as Benjamin Braddock and Brigitte Robinson as Mrs. Robinson.

For three weeks in June, Historic Green-Wood Cemetery will be transformed into Grover's Corners, New Hampshire at the turn of the 20th century, as it becomes an urban and bold outdoor stage for a new production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town. Queens Theatre (QT) presents the L.A. Theatre Works production of THE GRADUATE, based on the 1963 'age of youth' novel and the classic 1967 Oscar-winning film, adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson. In celebration of the 75th anniversary of Thornton Wilder's great dramatic homage to small-town American life and the greater universal experience of life, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Our Town beginning October 17th and continuing through November 17th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at973-408-5600 or by visiting www.ShakespeareNJ.org. Performances are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Individual tickets range from $35 to $70; student rush tickets are available 30 minutes prior to curtain for $15.

Brighton Fringe has launched its 2013 programme online, offering a huge variety of 685 shows (and counting) with 3275 performances and 210 premieres in 178 venues with 38 international acts and 220 home-grown Brighton shows which makes it the richest and largest yet. Not only this but this year England's biggest arts festival lasts longer, running an extra week from tonight, 4 May to 2 June to incorporate both spring bank holidays and half term.

Brighton Fringe has launched its 2013 programme online, offering a huge variety of 685 shows (and counting) with 3275 performances and 210 premieres in 178 venues with 38 international acts and 220 home-grown Brighton shows which makes it the richest and largest yet. Not only this but this year England's biggest arts festival lasts longer, running an extra week from 4 May to 2 June to incorporate both spring bank holidays and half term. During that time every conceivable space in the South Coast city is transformed into a place of creative celebration. Throughout the merry month of May, Brighton positively buzzes with activity. From theatre to dance, comedy to music, visual art to literary events, high flying installations, dance and circus, there is something for everyone throughout the day and long into the spring evenings for what is always a highlight in the UK's arts calendar. And true to Brighton's slightly rebellious nature there will be plenty of surprises that could only happen in Britain's favourite seaside city.
