The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Gala 'One Acts for a Cause' is set for tonight, June 16 at 7:30pm at the Alice Griffin Jewelbox Theatre in the Pershing Square Signature Center. The evening will raise funds for the non-profit Safe Horizon and showcase three new one-act plays by acclaimed playwrights Neil LaBute, John Patrick Shanley and Winter Miller (Neil LaBute and Winter Miller's pieces will be world premieres).

The casts of KINKY BOOTS, PIPPIN, MATILDA and many more shows and entertainers joined host Neil Patrick Harris on last night's broadcast of the 67th Annual Tony Awards on CBS! New additions include Georgi James, starring on Broadway in Annie; 30 Rock's Todd Buonopane; Rory O'Malley, opening soon in Nobody Loves You at Second Stage; Shaina Taub, featured in the new musical Natasha & Pierre & The Great Comet of 1912; and Godspell alum Grace Capeless.

Due to popular demand, Playwrights Horizons' World Premiere production of the eagerly-awaited new musical Far From Heaven will now play an additional week through Sunday, July 7. The show just opened last night and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the after party below!

The New York Civil Liberties Union (the New York State affiliate of the ACLU) today announced a star-studded lineup of award-winning performers for 'Broadway Stands Up for Freedom,' its annual benefit show, to be held Monday, July 22 at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.

Producers Jeffrey Richards and John N.
