???????In an astounding amalgamation of narrative, spoken word, music, song, dance, faith, humanity and artistry, author/performer, Angela Polite's passion play, MARY SPEAKS, will have its World Premiere THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16 at the Theatre for the New City's Community Space Theater (155 First Avenue - between 9 and 10 Avenues) where it will play through SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26.

American Bard Theater Company presents Visionary Voices, three poignant, tantalizing plays by two pioneering women playwrights, exploring gender roles, race, and death in America's early twentieth century. Aimee Todoroff and Tonya Pinkins direct. The evening of one-act works include Trifles by Susan Glaspell (1916), Exit: An Illusion by Marita Bonner (1929), and The People by Susan Glaspell (1918). For the first time in The Fire This Time Festival history Season Five will feature a fully realized production of a full-length play, Lord's Resistance, by Season Two playwright Camille Darby, directed by Christopher Burris. The production will play six performances at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) January 22-31, Wednesday through Friday at 7:30pm.
