Centenary Stage Company announces exciting line-up of musical guests for the 2017 Summer Jamfest. Set to rock the Lackland Performing Arts Center all summer long, Centenary Stage Company's 2017 Summer Jamfest will feature; Drive: A Tribute to the Cars on Saturday, July 15 at 8pm; The Doo Wah Riders on Saturday, July 22 at 8pm; The British Invasion Years on Saturday, July 29 at 8pm; the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra on Saturday, August 5 at 8pm and Dr. K's Motown Revue on Saturday, August 12 at 8pm. All performances will be held in the Sitnik Theater of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.
Curio Theatre Company Finishes 12th Season with Peeoplykus' Hilarious THE MASSIVE TRAGEDY OF MADAME BOVARY

Curio Theatre Company closes its 13th Season with the North American premiere of Peeoplykus' adaptation of Gustave Flaubert's classic novel Madam Bovary. In 2013, Curio Theatre Company had a hit in its hilarious production of Hound of Baskerville adapted by Peepolykus (pronounced people-like-us), UK's most exciting touring theatre company. The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary runs April 26-May 20. Opening Night is Friday April 28. All shows are at Curio Theatre Company's Black Box at the Calvary Center for Culture and Community, 4740 Baltimore Ave. Shows are performed Thursday-Saturday night at 8 p.m. The First Preview is Wednesday, April 26. Industry night is Monday, May 15 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15-$25 and are available online at www.curiotheatre.org or by phone at 215-525-1350.

Center for Performance Research (CPR), an artist-driven organization co-founded by Jonah Bokaer Choreography and John Jasperse & Thin Man Dance, Inc. to support the development of new works in contemporary dance, announced today its Spring Season. CPR's Artist-in-Residence, technical residency, and presenting programs offer multiple platforms aimed to support creative development and experimentation during the artistic process. CPRs 1,845 sq ft theater features a LED lighting system; making it one the most technically advanced venues of its size within the five boroughs.

The brilliant theatricality of Kneehigh, the innovative United Kingdom-based theater company, will be on display at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts once again when 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips has its Los Angeles premiere. Based on the beloved book by War Horse author Michael Morpurgo, 946 explores everything we thought we knew about the D-Day landings in this tender musical tale of love and war. Adapted by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, who also directs, 946 is a Kneehigh production presented in association with Birmingham Repertory and Berkeley Repertory Theatres. Performances begin February 9 with the opening on February 10.
